The obtained numerical characteristics of color are characterized by rather small variation that allows to use this technology for reliable identification of the samples of flax differing in color of petals or other parts of a plant. Conclusions. It was found that in all genotypes of flax with pink color of the petals in numerical terms, the red color component has similar values and predominates over other color components. L. grandiflorum was found to have the highest percentage of color components, which differs significantly from other genotypes studied. A large proportion of red color was also found in the variety Rumyanets and L. pubescens.
