One of the most important branches in data hiding is Steganography. Steganography techniques concerns with hiding the secret data within the cover image in order to avoid detection. Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique is used widely in steganographic images. The traditional LSB method replaces some LSB of the cover image with the secret data. In this paper, a new method based on LSB for image steganography is presented. The goal of the proposed method is to increase the embedding capacity and enhance the stego image quality. We invert LSBs of the cover image depending on the value of the secret data.
