The o-ethyl formate phenylacetic acid crystallize in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 20.908(4) A, b = 5.2154(10) A, c = 20.045(4) A, β = 97.21(3)o, V = 2168.5(7) A3, Z = 1, Dc = 1.104 μg·m–3, μ = 0.064 mm–1, F(000) = 720, and final R1 = 0.1967, wR2 = 0.4907.
