The great majority of our membership, through individual ballot, voted for Purdue. A great many felt that the convention should go to the Pacific coast, and especially the Pacific Northwest, as no meetings have ever been held there. On the other hand, the very popular preference for the Central West and the much larger attendance which could be guaranteed there seemed reason enough to warrant the Board of Directors choosing Purdue as the place. The week of August 16–21 has been selected as the date. Prof. Phillips and his staff are cooperating with President Kirkpatrick in arranging the program and the preliminary plans are under way for one of the best conventions we have ever had.
