Diagnostic scales are widely used worldwide due to the advantages of inexpensive, noninvasive, and easy to operate. The reflux symptom index(RSI) and the reflux finding score(RFS) are preferred to use in clinical diagnosis. However, many controversies have appeared in the application of RSI and RFS in recent years, causing many troubles to clinical diagnosis.
