"Cleaning World" was originally named "Chemical Cleaning". It was founded by China National Bluestar (Group) Corporation in 1985. It is now sponsored by China Chemical Information Center and supervised by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. It is the only professional technical application journal in China that covers industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning industries. It is now a source journal for Chinese scientific and technological papers statistics, a journal included in the China Science and Technology Journal Database, a journal included in the CNKI China Journal Full-text Database, a journal included in the China Core Journal Database, a source journal for the China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database, the sixth to eighth national excellent journals in the petroleum and chemical industry (second prize), and a journal included in the American Chemical Abstracts (CA).
