Conservation and Utilization of Mineral Resources was founded in 1981, and is a peer-reviewed bimonthly academic journal. It is superintended by China Geological Survey and sponsored by Zhengzhou Institute of Multipurpose Utilization of Mineral Resources, Chinese Academy of Geological Science. The Journal is issued both at home and abroad, its international standard serial number (ISSN) is 1001-0076, and its domestic unified serial number (CN) is 41-1122/TD. According to Chinese Science and Technology Citation Reports 2023 (Core Edition) issued by China Institute of Science and Technical Information, the core impact factor has reached 1.331, which ranks ninth in the discipline of mine engineering. The impact factor is now 1.734 from CNKI with more than 15% of an annual growing rate in last five years.
