Journal of Jiaxing University is a comprehensive academic journal supervised by Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education and sponsored by Jiaxing University. Founded in 1985, its predecessor was the Journal of Zhejiang Higher Specialized School of Economics, which was renamed Journal of Jiaxing University in 2001 due to the joint promotion of the school to a comprehensive undergraduate school. The main columns are Jiaxing Celebrities and Jiaxing Culture, Nanhu Forum, Yangtze River Delta Development Research, Economy-Management, Literature-Art, Law Research, Scientific Research, Engineering Application, Education Theory and Practice, and some other thematic columns, and some of them have gradually become the “characteristic” columns concerned by scholars in many fields. Journal of Jiaxing University has been included in “China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database”, “China Academic Journals ”, “China Core Journals (Selection) Database”, “Wanfang Digital Journal Group”, “China Science and Technology Journal Database”, and “Ulrich's Guide to International Journals”. It has also become the collection and shelf reading publication of the National Library as well as the libraries of colleges and universities, and has a prominent position among the journals of local colleges and universities.

《嘉兴大学学报》是浙江省教育厅主管、嘉兴大学主办的综合性学术期刊。创刊于1985年，其前身是《浙江经济高等专科学校学报》，2001年因学校联合升为综合性本科学校而更名为《嘉兴学院学报》。主要栏目有嘉兴名人与嘉兴文化、南湖论坛、长三角发展研究、经济•管理、文学•艺术、法学研究、科学研究、工程应用、教育理论与实践以及其他一些专题性栏目，有些已逐渐成为众多领域学者关注的“特色”栏目。“嘉兴名人与嘉兴文化”栏目先后被全国高等学校文科学报研究会评为优秀栏目、特色栏目，2014年入选教育部高校哲学社会科学学报名栏。《嘉兴大学学报》现已被《中国学术期刊综合评价数据库》《中国学术期刊<光盘版>》《中国核心期刊（遴选）数据库》《万方数字化期刊群》《中国科技期刊数据库》《乌利希国际期刊指南》全文收录。也成为国家图书馆以及高校图书馆馆藏和上架阅览刊物，在地方高校学报中地位突出。
