Journal of Wuhan University of Science and Technology is a comprehensive scientific journal sponsored by Wuhan University of Science and Technology. It mainly publishes academic papers in disciplines such as metallurgical engineering, metallurgical materials science, metallurgical mechanical engineering and automation, information science and control, chemical engineering, computer science, construction engineering, environmental engineering, and basic theoretical research. Journal of Wuhan University of Science and Technology is now a Chinese core journal, RCCSE Chinese core journal, and Chinese science and technology core journal. It is also listed as a statistical source journal for Chinese scientific and technological papers. It is included in the Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) and the China Core Journals (Selection) Database, an excellent journal for the implementation of the CAJ-CD Standard of the China Academic Journals (CD-ROM Edition), a full-text journal included in the China Journal Full-text Database (CJFD), and a full-text journal included in the China Academic Journals Comprehensive Evaluation Database. It has now joined the China Academic Journals (CD-ROM Edition), China Journal Network, VIP Full-text Database, and Wanfang Full-text Database.

《武汉科技大学学报》是由武汉科技大学主办的综合性科技期刊，创刊于1975年，原名为《武汉钢铁学院学报》、《武汉冶金科技大学学报》。 《武汉科技大学学报》现为中文核心期刊、RCCSE中国核心期刊、中国科技核心期刊，并被列为中国科技论文统计源期刊，为《剑桥科学文摘》（CSA）收录期刊、《中国核心期刊（遴选）数据库》收录期刊、中国学术期刊（光盘版）《CAJ-CD规范》执行优秀期刊、《中国期刊全文数据库（CJFD）》全文收录期刊以及《中国学术期刊综合评价数据库》全文收录期刊；现已加入中国学术期刊（光盘版）、中国期刊网、维普全文数据库和万方全文数据库。本学报被评为2006、2008、2010、2012、2014年度湖北省高校优秀学报。
