"Cereal, Oil and Food Science and Technology" (ISSN 1007-7561; CN 11-3863/TS) was originally named "Research and Design" and is a publication of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce. It was founded in 1991. In September 1993, with the approval of the State Science and Technology Commission, the Press and Publication Administration, and the Ministry of Domestic Trade, it was renamed "Business Technology and Development" and officially published and distributed, sponsored by the Research Institute of the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In August 1997, with the approval of relevant ministries and commissions, the expanded edition of "Business Technology and Development" adopted the international standard format, changed from a quarterly to a bimonthly, and the name was changed to "Cereal, Oil and Food Science and Technology". At present, this journal is under the supervision of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves and sponsored by the Research Institute of the State Administration of Grain and Material Reserves. This journal adheres to the publishing concept of "delivering scientific and technological agility and shouldering the heavy responsibility of national grain" and has achieved a series of excellent results in the nearly 30 years since its founding.

《粮油食品科技》（国际标准刊号：ISSN 1007-7561；国内统一刊号：CN 11-3863/TS）原名《科研与设计》，为商业部科学研究院院刊，于1991年试刊。1993年9月经国家科委、新闻出版署和国内贸易部批准，更名为《商业科技与开发》并正式公开出版发行，由内贸部科学研究院主办。1997年8月，经相关部委批准，《商业科技开发》扩大版本，采用国际标准开本，由季刊改为双月刊，刊名改为《粮油食品科技》。目前本刊由国家粮食和物资储备局主管、国家粮食和物资储备局科学研究院主办，本刊秉承“传科技之灵动，承国粮之担当”的办刊理念，创刊近30年来，取得了系列良好成绩。
