"Environmental Monitoring Management and Technology" was founded in March 1989. It is a bimonthly environmental science and technology journal that combines academic and practical aspects. It is supervised by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and co-sponsored by the Jiangsu Nanjing Environmental Monitoring Center and the Jiangsu Provincial Environmental Monitoring Center. This journal is a national Chinese core journal (2023), a Chinese science and technology core journal, a source journal of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), and a first-level journal in Jiangsu Province. The domestic unified journal number is CN 32-1418/X, and the international standard journal number is ISSN 1006-2009. In 2000, it won the second prize of the first National Excellent Environmental Journal, in 2001 it won the first "CAJ-CD Standard" Implementation Excellence Award, and in 2008 it won the Jiangsu Science and Technology Journal Editor Quality Award.
