The journal "Oncology" was founded in 1981, and Professor Gu Suiyue, a leading figure in tumor pathology in my country, served as the first editor-in-chief. Since then, Professor Yu Xinsheng, a famous Chinese expert in immunology and cell biology, and Professor Gao Yutang, an internationally renowned expert in tumor epidemiology, have successively served as editors-in-chief of the journal. Since December 2021, Professor Liu Yingbin, an expert in biliary and pancreatic surgery, has served as editor-in-chief of the journal. "Oncology" is supervised by the Ministry of Education of China and sponsored by Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Shanghai Institute of Oncology. It has long been ranked among the core journals of Chinese scientific and technological papers (statistical source) and has been included in many important international databases, including Embase, Scopus, DOAJ, CA, JST, CSA, VINITI, Index Copemicus, WPRIM, etc. It is an important platform for domestic academic exchanges in oncology and has made contributions to academic exchanges in oncology.

《肿瘤》创刊于 1981年，由我国肿瘤病理学泰斗顾绥岳教授发起创办，并担任第一任主编。此后，我国著名的免疫学与细胞生物学专家余新生教授、国际著名的肿瘤流行病学专家高玉堂教授，先后担任杂志主编。2021年12月起，由胆胰外科专家刘颖斌教授担任杂志主编《肿瘤》杂志由中华人民共和国教育部主管，上海交通大学医学院附属仁济医院和上海市肿瘤研究所主办，长期位列中国科技论文核心期刊(统计源)，同时被许多国际重要数据库收录，包括Embase、Scopus、DOAJ、CA、JST、CSA、VINITI、Index Copemicus 、WPRIM 等。《肿瘤》杂志是国内肿瘤学术交流的重要平台，为肿瘤学术交流做出了贡献。
