The Economía Chilena journal is a publication by the Central Bank of Chile, whose aim is to help disseminate the results of research studies on the Chilean economy or on topics of importance to the country, with a significant empirical and/or relevant content for conducting the economic policy. The main areas of interest include macroeconomics, finance, and economic development. The journal is elaborated by the Monetary Policy Division of the Central Bank of Chile and has an independent editorial board.
