Electric Power started its publication in the year of 1956. It is administered by State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), sponsored by State Grid Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd., State Grid Smart Grid Research Institute Co., Ltd. And its national unified publication number is 11-3265/TM and the international standard serial number is 1004-9649. Electric Power is a member of Chinese Core Journals and Chinese Science and Technology Core Journals, journals included in Scopus database and DOAJ,China Science Citation Database Core journals (C) and RCCSE China Core Academic Journals (A+). It has won many awards in national and power system journal competitions, including the third "National Journal Award". Electric Power is a double-effect journal that entered the "Chinese Journal Phalanx" in 2001 and has been included in SAINSPEC, AJ of VINITI and Cambridge Science Abstracts (CSA).
