CHINA PETROLEUM MACHINERY (Monthly), founded in 1973, is a petroleum engineering academic journal supervised by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and sponsored by PetroChina Jianghan Machinery Research Institute Co. Ltd. It is an academic journal of petroleum engineering, using ‘serving for the economic construction of domestic oilfields, scientific and technological development of petroleum equipment, and the use and management of petroleum equipment’ as the purpose of publication, and mainly reports the latest scientific and technological progress in the field of petroleum and natural gas engineering and equipment, including the research and application of new equipment, new technology, new materials and new methods, etc.. The publication covers major oil and gas fields, related research institutes and manufacturing enterprises, petroleum engineering management departments and petroleum colleges and universities in China, as well as some overseas publications.
