Clean Coal Technology (Monthly) is a scientific and technical journal covering the whole field of clean coal technology, which is supervised by China Coal Technology and Industry Group Corporation, sponsored by China Academy of Coal Science and Technology and Coal Industry Clean Coal Engineering Technology Research Centre, and was founded in 1995, and changed from a quarterly to a bimonthly in 2007, and from a bimonthly to a monthly in 2022. It is now a source journal of China Science Citation Database (CSCD), Chinese Core Journal, China Science and Technology Core Journal, RCCSE China Authoritative Academic Journals (A+), and has been included in foreign databases, such as Scopus, CA, AJ, EBSCO host, Ulrichsweb, JST, etc. It is dedicated to the promotion of clean coal technology.
Clean Coal Technology is dedicated to publicising the guidelines and policies for the development of China's coal industry and clean coal technology; reporting on the new achievements, experiences and trends of clean coal technology at home and abroad; reflecting the major scientific and technological problems in the process of coal production and comprehensive utilisation; carrying out academic exchanges and promoting the growth of talents; and upgrading the level of clean coal technology to achieve the sustainable development of the coal industry.
Clean Coal Technology mainly publishes academic papers, research reports and special reviews on coal chemistry, coal processing, coal conversion, efficient and clean combustion of coal, pollution control and waste management, energy saving and emission reduction technology, and new energy technology.
