Journal of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Social Science Edition) was founded in 1988 and is an academic theoretical journal sponsored by Beihang University. The main columns of this journal include Marxist Theoretical Innovation, New Jurisprudence Forum, Public Policy and Governance, Economy and Management, Aviation Law and Outer Space Law, Language and Literature. Journal of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Social Science Edition) has now become a CSSCI extended version source journal, a Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journal AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Core Journal, a Chinese Science and Technology Core Journal (CSTPCD), a RCCSE Chinese Core Academic Journal, a Chinese Academic Journal Influence Q1 Zone Journal and an Important Reprint Source Journal for Photocopied Newspapers and Periodicals; it has joined the Database of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Social Science Evaluation Center, the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Academic Journal Database, the China Journal Full-text Database (CJFD), the China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database, the Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, the China Social Science Citation Database, the China Science Citation Database and many other databases.

《北京航空航天大学学报（社会科学版）》于1988年创刊，是北京航空航天大学主办的学术性理论刊物。 本刊的主要栏目包括马克思主义理论创新、新法学论坛、公共政策与治理、经济与管理、航空法与外层空间法、语言与文学。 《北京航空航天大学学报（社会科学版）》现已成为CSSCI扩展版来源期刊、中国人文社会科学期刊AMI综合评价核心期刊、中国科技核心期刊（CSTPCD）、RCCSE中文核心学术期刊、中国学术期刊影响力Q1区期刊和复印报刊资料重要转载来源期刊；加入《中国社会科学院社会科学评价中心数据库》《国家哲学社会科学学术期刊数据库》《中国期刊全文数据库（CJFD）》《中国学术期刊综合评价数据库》《中文科技期刊数据库》《中国社会科学引文数据库》《中国科学引文数据库》等多家数据库。
