The Journal of the Yangtze River Academy of Sciences, founded in October 1984, is an academic journal of applied sciences approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, under the supervision of the Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, and sponsored by the Yangtze River Academy of Sciences. The journal is a monthly publication, which is openly circulated at home and abroad every month. It mainly publishes academic papers, thematic reviews and engineering summaries reflecting the development, utilization and protection of river basin water resources, large and medium-sized water conservancy and hydropower projects, and other specialized water sciences.
