Founded in 1990, Journal of Public Health and Preventive Medicine is a bimonthly journal, openly circulated both at home and abroad. It is a core journal of China Science and Technology Paper Statistics and a core academic journal of RCCSE. It has been honored with the Outstanding Journal Award of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association Series Journals, the Outstanding Journal Award of Hubei Province, and the Excellence Column Award of “Expert Forum”. Selected as one of the theme journals in the “2020 China's fine journals exhibition”. The latest impact factor is 2.325 in 2022 (2.249 in 2021), and it has been selected as Q1 of China Academic Journal Influence Index. It is included in ULRICHSWEB, Japan Science and Technology Agency database (JST) and WHO West Pacific Region Medical Index (WPRIM).
