Since its inception in September 1984, Chinese Journal of Health Statistics (bimonthly) has become the only academic journal and Chinese core journal in the field of health statistics in China. Supervised by the National Health and Wellness Commission and organised by the China Society for Health Information and Big Data in Healthcare and China Medical University, the journal is a core journal of China's source of science and technology dissertation statistics and a core journal of the China Science Citation Database (CSCD), and it is also included in the Q1 zone of the China Knowledge Network (CNKI). The journal has been selected in several high-quality scientific and technical journals classification catalogues, and has been awarded as China's outstanding academic journal and China's high-quality scientific and technical journal. Chinese Journal of Health Statistics mainly reports the scientific research results, reform information and development dynamics of health statistics, carries out academic discussions, exchanges working experience, introduces research progress and popularises the knowledge of health statistics. The main readers are statisticians and technicians of health institutions at all levels, and teaching and research personnel of related disciplines in higher medical schools. Chinese Journal of Health Statistics has the columns of thesis, thematic research, applied research, short report, hospital statistics, case analysis, academic discussion, review, thematic discussion, lectures, translations, problems and thoughts, teaching and research, experience exchange, information, computer application, etc. The journal has a comprehensive impact factor and citation impact factor.
