Journal of Southeast University (Philosophy and Social Science) is a comprehensive academic and theoretical journal openly circulated at home and abroad. The main columns of the journal include ‘Marxism and Contemporary China’, ‘Moral Philosophy and China's Moral Development’, ‘Art Studies’, ‘Economics Decision-making and Enterprise Management’, “Society and Rule of Law”, “Literature and Chinese Culture”, “Foreign Languages and Literature”, ‘Sociological Studies’ and Philosophical Studies, etc. It is committed to promoting academic development in the field of philosophy and social sciences. Since its inception in 1999, the journal has adhered to the principle of combining instructive and practicality, advocating rigorous governance, focusing on traditional disciplines and basic theoretical research, and paying attention to emerging disciplines, special disciplines and interdisciplinary research. The Journal of Southeast University (Philosophy and Social Science) has been recognised as a source journal of ‘Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI)’, an important Chinese journal for degree and postgraduate education, a core journal of Chinese humanities and social sciences journals, one of the top 30 social science journals of colleges and universities in China, an excellent journal of East China, an excellent journal of Jiangsu Journal Square, and a first-grade journal of Jiangsu Province, and was awarded the title of ‘Top 30 Social Science Journals of National Universities’ in 2010. In 2010, it was awarded the title of ‘Top 30 Social Science Journals in National Universities’.

《东南大学学报（哲学社会科学版）》是一本国内外公开发行的综合性学术理论刊物。本刊主要栏目包括“马克思主义与当代中国”、“道德哲学与中国道德发展”、“艺术学研究”、“经济决策与企业管理”、“社会与法治”、“文学与中国文化”、“外国语言与文学”、“社会学研究”以及哲学研究等，致力于推动哲学社会科学领域的学术发展。 自1999年创刊以来，本刊坚持指导性与实用性相结合的原则，倡导严谨治学，关注传统学科与基础理论研究，并重视新兴学科、特色学科及跨学科研究。《东南大学学报（哲学社会科学版）》被认定为“中文社会科学引文索引（CSSCI）”来源期刊、学位与研究生教育中文重要期刊、中国人文社会科学学报核心期刊、全国高校三十佳社科期刊、华东地区优秀期刊、江苏期刊方阵优秀期刊以及江苏省一级期刊，2010年荣获“全国高校三十佳社科期刊”称号。
