Fishery Modernisation, founded in 1973, is under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and sponsored by the Institute of Fishery Machinery and Instrumentation of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. It is a core journal of Chinese science and technology, included in China Science and Citation Database (CSCD), Chinese core journal of Peking University, included in domestic databases such as China Knowledge, Wanfang, Wipro, Super Star, etc., and included in foreign famous databases such as EBSCO. Fishery Modernization is a bimonthly journal published in China and abroad, using fishery equipment and aquaculture engineering as its speciality. Fishery Modernization mainly publishes original research papers, research reviews and reports on scientific and technological achievements in the fields of factory water recycling aquaculture technology and equipment, fishery water purification, pond ecological aquaculture, fishing vessels and fishing, aquatic products preservation and processing and utilisation, and fishery information technology.
