Abstract
A 1:1 adduct between chlorotriphenyltin and cis-1,2-bis(diphenylphosphinyl)ethylene has been synthesized and characterized. The X-ray analysis has revealed a trigonal bipyramidal arrangement around tin involving three carbon atoms, the chloride ion and one of the two oxygen atoms from a unidentate phosphorus ligand.
