Bioinformatics and modeling analysis suggested that the missense mutation could potentially have a deleterious effect on fibrinogen.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong> The BβAla68Asp mutation in exon 2 of <i>FGB</i> may account for the reduced FIB:C levels observed in the pedigree. Abstract
