Abstract

A 52-year old woman with fever of unknown origin underwent fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scan for further evaluation. A clinical history of cervical cancer (CIS) operated 20 years ago was documented. Two foci in the right lobe of the slightly enlarged liver presented increased 18F-FDG uptake.
