In addition, the CiteScore Tracker 2022 (last updated on December 6th, 2022, available from: https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21101032315) calculated by Scopus was 4.3 (342 citations to date/145 documents 2018 to date). This is a substantial increase compared with the 1.9 from the CiteScore Tracker 2021, in which the journal ranked 38th percentile in Internal Medicine category, 36th percentile in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine category and 29th percentile in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism category. This is an unprecedented pace of development.
