Abstract

Super-wideband antenna with guitar shape radiating patch and semi-elliptical ground plane with etched rectangular slot is presented which covers impedance bandwidth of 2.56GHz-39.47GHz with a ratio bandwidth of 15.42:1. Dual notched band characteristics is obtained by inserting inverted T-shape stub to eliminate WiMAX interference and C-shape slot results in removing interfering WLAN band including peak realized gain of 3.32dBi-6.88dBi. Co- and cross-polarization with radiation efficiency which are radiation characteristics of antenna is also discussed.
