Abstract

Parking in the city could be a challenging task, particularly in large urban areas. Parking guide service is developed to find and book parking facilities in the big cities. The application can search available parking facilities at the shortest distance from the current customer location, inform users about lot availability and has enhanced managing functionality. For accessible parking facilities a new, light searching algorithm is proposed. The app usage on the private parking lot enabled to optimize the occupancy of parking spaces by 19% and reduce the time needed to search for a vacant lot.
