The results are as follows: First, participants’ adult attachment were lower than average level. Their avoidance attachment was higher than their anxiety attachment. The participants’ marriage value was the highest for the stable-romantic value. Second, according to regression analysis for adult attachment to marriage value, the planned number of child, anxiety and avoidance attachment showed significant effect for stable-romantic marriage value. For conservative-instrumental marriage value, sex, job, the planned number of child, anxiety and avoidance attachment showed significant effect. For passive-exclusive marriage value, sex, the planned number of child and anxiety attachment showed significant effect. Abstract
This study aimed to investigate how unmarried men and women’s adult attachment influences their marriage value.
