It is clear that a wider area is IoT and improvement in power quality is challenge. This paper presents comprehensive review on power quality control and shunt active filters. Articles belong to the category of IoT, Active Power Filter and different types of improvement in power quality methods and were mainly published in a decade. The review of literature has been carried out by making category-based sections of papers issue wise or under sub-area.
