Based on status quo analysis of college English reading teaching, this paper explores the application of OBE mode in college English reading teaching. Taking Unit 3 from College English III as an example, it first designs a unit teaching case from four aspects of definition, realization, evaluation, and application in the OBE chain. It then practices the above-mentioned OBE chain in the form of reading circle in the teaching class. The paper points out that college English reading teaching should adhere to the concept of being outcome-oriented and student-oriented. Abstract
Reading teaching is an integral part of college English teaching.
