Abstract

Severe plastic deformation of a titanium specimen during dynamic channel-angular pressing was numerically investigated in 3D statement for dynamic scheme of loading. Computations have been carried out by the finite element method within the framework of the elastic-plastic medium model with allowance for fracture. The effective values of initial velocity and loading pressure are determined for the titanium specimen.
