Abstract

In this paper we will present a touch sensitive compact design that is used for the actuation of myo electric arm. This system was developed as an alternative to today's commonly used electromechanical prosthetic actuation systems. With this system the amputee has to just touch the switch and individual can do couple of activities. Also this switching system is capable of closing and opening of grip according to individual wish.
