Abstract
Mixed-domain instruments are becoming extremely important in nowadays software defined radios industry. In that sense, instrumentation to characterize fast and accurately such components is necessary, in order to decrease the design complexity of software defined radios. In this paper a laboratory implementation of a mixed-domain instrument is presented as also a calibration procedure. The results obtained are afterwards compared with the available data and whenever possible with traditional approaches.
