Interleaved dc-dc converter is an attractive solution widely used in various power conversion applications, such as voltage regulation modules (VRM), renewable applications, automotive and traction applications, power factor correctors (PFC) and power supplies. Apart some general analysis of interleaved converters presented in literature, there is not a single publication that gives detailed analysis and closed form equation of the dc bus capacitor current stress in case of N-cell interleaved dc-dc converter.
