Abstract
In this paper, a Time-Frequency Interleave (TFI) product code is applied to Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system to improve the quality of communication. The TFI product code consists of iterative Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code and BCH code with interleaving data on time-frequency plane. The bit error rate increases by the effect of various interference and noise in channel of wireless mobile communications. The conventional LDPC code is not useful for damaged symbol bit estimation when burst error occurred. To overcome the shortcoming of MC-CDMA systems, the product code and time-frequency interleave technique is combined. In the simulations, the performance of MC-CDMA system is analyzed in various noise environments. The effectiveness of the TFI product code used for MC-CDMA system is examined.
