Abstract
Distribution grid analysis is based on distribution network power flow calculation. New power flow algorithm for distribution network is developed. Due to specific features of modern distribution networks, traditional approaches do not adopted for them. Particularly there is a problem with accelerating calculation in network with high R/X ratio. The proposed method allows overcoming these disadvantages. In this method, there are possibility for reducing calculation complexity. The key idea of this method is based on power-energy flow model. The algorithm was tested on different test feeder and system. Results are compared with traditional algorithms. Conditioning and converges of nonlinear equations are analyzed.
