Abstract

This paper presents a new high-level approach to mixed-signal systems co-design, using UML as a high-level system specification and description language. Adopting CodeSimulinkreg co-design environment, UML specification can be easily translated into ANSI-C and VHDL, and then synthesized to FPGAs using the most popular commercial tools.
