Abstract

The measurement of corona current pulse is one important method for the study of corona discharge. Since corona current pulse is induced by the moving space charges generated by air ionization, there are many methods for the measurement of corona current pulses. This paper reviews the general measuring methods for corona current pulses and compares the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods. Finally, the suggestions on the selection of the measuring methods are presented.
