Abstract

This paper present a mathematical model to find the optimum input temperature of a solar-thermal collector for a known set of climate data, using solar radiation and external temperature over the hot and cold period of the year. In the study, is presented the mathematical model of solar-thermal collector functionality over the day coupled with a thermal storage tank and a mixing valve, able to prepare the optimal temperature of thermal agent from the system. The optimum temperature of thermal agent at input plug of solar system is evaluated based on solar radiation and temperature of eternal air to take the maximum of renewable energy.
