Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical model of microwave slow wave transmission line with stepped impedance resonators. New equivalent circuit model is first presented for characterizing the slow-wave structure. Equivalent circuit parameters extraction and the effect of impedance ratio are studied. Good agreement between EM and circuit simulation results verifies the modeling methodology.
