Abstract

In this paper an improved small-signal model of an active inductor taking into consideration active and biasing transistors parasitics is presented. It is shown that the effect of the biasing resistance of the cascode transistor increases to three the order of the system. The influence of the parasitic elements on stability and a noise analysis of the circuit are studied as well.
