Abstract

In this paper, usefulness of PID type controller in real time application of process control plant is presented. Further, various existing techniques for tuning of PID controller has been discussed. Finally, design of PID controller has been carried out using Good gain method for liquid level control systems and it is shown that Good gain method is better than Ziegler Nichols approach of tuning.
