The process of making gotu kola extract was carried out using MAE method. The solvent used was ethanol with concentrations of 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and 96%. The results showed that phytochemical screening of gotu kola extract had alkaloids, steroids, saponins, tannins, while flavoid compounds were found in the extract with a solvent concentration of 96% using the MAE method. Abstract

Pegagan (Centella asiatica (L) Urban) has active components such as triterpenoids and saponins such as madecasoside, asiaticosides, polyphenols, tannins, vitamin C and beta-carotene.
