Abstract
Technologically efficient light weight patch antennas with artificial dielectric substrates comprising periodic metal ribs or pins structures have been considered. Antenna Q-factor and substrate dispersion estimates are provided and molded and stamped substrate structures are synthesized. Antenna implementation examples for full wave high-precision user satellite positioning equipment applications are shown.
