Abstract
This article investigates the integration solar thermal and wind system in AGC studies. Thermal and wind units in area-1, area-2 consists of thermal and solar thermal system and area-3 consist of thermal and wind system. A new secondary controller named by TIDF is used and its parameters are simultaneously optimized by grass hopper algorithm (GHA). The simulation study reveals that the responses with the TIDF controller outperform in compared to PI and PID controller. The effects on system dynamics with integration of STP and WTS also evaluate and explore that the dynamics of the system improves with integration of renewables sources. Moreover, the sensitivity analysis is executed to check the controller robustness at diverse loading conditions of the system
