Abstract
At present, one of the most promising directions in the search for chemical compounds-candidates for drugs is the fundamental study of signaling molecules, whose main function is to transmit information to the cell through ion channels and nuclear receptors associated with G-protein or with enzymatic activity. One of the fundamental tasks of modern pharmacology - the expansion of the range of hepatotropic drugs with a fundamentally new mechanism of action - is currently being actively solved, including through specific chemical compounds that act on cell nuclear receptors, one of which is obeticholic acid.
