Abstract

There is strong competition worldwide to increase the income international tourists, demanding that all nations increase competitiveness. In this context, following an analysis of the main competitiveness models, the creation of a quantitative objective model of the competitiveness of tourist destinations derived the model of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is proposed. This model should be able to objectively measure the tourism competitiveness of countries.
