To assess the efficiency of dust cleaning, a mathematical description of the dynamics of motion of dust particles in a vortex flow of a direct-flow cyclone has been formulated. Analytical dependences are obtained, according to which the trajectories of motion of dust particles in projections onto the transverse and longitudinal planes of the cyclone body are calculated. The formulas obtained make it possible to determine the design and operating parameters of the dedusting device and to estimate the size of particles, the capture of which is provided by the proposed device. \nConclusions\n1. A rational layout diagram of a heat recovery system for ventilation air of industrial facilities has been determined, which in series connects a once-through cyclone with an impeller and a tube-plate heat exchanger.\n2.
