Basic concepts and kernel thoughts of CAS theory are introduced briefly; Main process to realize autonomy of DSS is discussed and Agent-based methods including design and evaluation method, modeling method, satellite autonomy architecture and autonomous mechanisms of physical and behavioral characteristics are investigated. Abstract

Overall frameworks of agent-based autonomous control of distributed satellite systems (DSS) are put forward.
